Busta Rhymes and Morris Day and The Time Headline the 2024 Baltimore AFRAM Festival

The official start of The Summer in Baltimore is flagged by the much loved cultural event that we call Baltimore AFRAM.
AFRAM is a free event featuring local artists, business owners, and makers who display their goods, talents, and services to thousands of attendees. It is one of the largest African-American, cultural arts fairs on the East Coast.
This year the two day event will take place Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23, from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m at the historic Druid Hill Park.
During the official announcement, festival organizers revealed that Busta Rhymes and Morris Day and The Time are headlining the 47th annual event. You’ll also have the pleasure of seeing Mya, Alex Isley, October London, Crystal Waters, Karen Clark-Sheared and more perform over the span of the two days.

This year’s AFRAM will also feature a celebration of 40 years of House Music, showcasing the unique history of the genre, it’s origins in Baltimore, and local legends that became national sensations like the Basement Boys.
“Each year, AFRAM brings Baltimore together to celebrate our city’s history, culture, community, and love for music,” said Mayor Brandon M. Scott. “As one of the largest Black arts and culture fairs on the East Coast, it gives us an opportunity to celebrate the best of Baltimore and gather together to show the world what we have to offer.
Attendees are encouraged to follow AFRAM on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook for real-time updates and visit aframbaltimore.com for more details.
