Pic Playback: Lil Baby’s Labor Day DMV Takeover
Although this past weekend would normally be one where folks use to take a little bit of time off to relax and be a little laborless, the same can’t be said for Lil Baby, as he was working overtime by taking the DMV by storm.
We were given the opportunity to photograph and cover Lil Baby’s “It’s Only Us” tour stops in both Washington, DC and Baltimore. This show also included artists like Hunxho, GLOSS UP, Rylo Rodriguez, and Glorilla. However Rylo did not perform, the show must go on.

Taking the stage first was a young up and coming rapper who goes by the name of Hunxho. The crowd showed him nothing but love as he performed songs like “Your Friends,” “Lets Get It,” and “Top Golf.” He brought his style and passion to stage all for the love of his supporters and fans.

GLOSS UP is a new rising female artist from Memphis. Her infectious stage presence will have you on your feet and out of your seat ready to turn up with your homegirls. As she performs songs like “Shabooya,” “Wrong One” and “Set The Tone,” in her rhinestone covered one piece, she really lit up the stage.

Following her was none other than another Memphis lady Glorilla. With her suited and booted in her army fatigue attire, you already knew that she was going to bring her energy and talent to the stage. That was one of the loudest crowd pops I’ve ever heard from a female artist. The Memphis native with her new smile and big chains kept the crowd going with songs like “Tomorrow 2″ featuring Cardi B, “Lick or Sum,” while also performing the song that put her on the map, “F.N.F.” Glorilla has been making her presence known in the industry and only plans to continue to rise to the top.

From the rough streets of Atlanta to the top of the charts, Lil Baby has taken the rap game by storm. Dropping hit after hit, Lil baby put on an electrifying performance with his set design and outfit changes. It seemed like he didn’t even need to rap as the crowd knew every single word as if they were lil baby himself. He continues to change the game with his new sound and innovation.
With his dynamic discography, Lil Baby performed songs like “All In,” “Freestyle,” “Close Friends,” “Yes Indeed” “Emotionally Scarred,” and “On Me.” Lil Baby continues to put on for his city and inspire the youth with his lyrics.
