Baltimore City Hosts First Ever Charm City Live

It seems like Baltimore City just won’t let up on the vibes of the Summer, and we’re not mad at it!

Just recently Mayor Brandon Scott announced a new event designed to further make Baltimore an entertainment destination by unveiling Charm City Live which will be an outdoor event with a little something for everyone. Anyone in the surrounding area is invited out to Downtown Baltimore for the festivities taking place in front of City Hall, on the lawn of War Memorial Plaza on September 24 from 12-8PM for an eclectic blend of art, entertainment, and local eats.

“I am excited to have Charm City Live be another opportunity for Baltimoreans and those visiting our great city to gather for a day full of festivities designed to appeal to a diverse group of people,” said Mayor Brandon M. Scott.

The first-ever festival will bring national performances from Joe Jon B, Kelly Price, Stokley, The Bonfyre and Rebecca Black.  Since this is an event for the city and not just about music, there will also be a kid’s zone, local food vendors, and retail spaces. The best part is it’s FREE. So meet us at the plaza!

“It’s our city. It’s happening in downtown Baltimore, but it’s about all of Baltimore,” said Shelonda Stokes, president of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore.
