Janet Jackson Puts Her Legacy On Full Display With The “Black Diamond” Tour Announcement

“That’s The Way Love Goes“…well her love for music and performing apparently. One of the last remaining musical greats, Janet Jackson has literally been on the touring circuit every year since 2017’s “State Of The World” Tour, which was met with much critical acclaim. We can honestly say we’d never thought we’d see the day when she was on the road this much, but hey, let’s keep the good times rolling!
In an announcement made this morning, the RRHOF inductee let it be known that she’s going to release new music in 2020, and to go in tandem with that, will set out on the “Black Diamond” World Tour. Aside from new music, she’ll also include a special 30th anniversary performance of Rhythm Nation 1814.
The tour kicks off June 24th in Miami and will visit major cities across the U.S. and Canada including Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, Dallas, and many more. The run will also feature shows at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden and STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. European dates and the rest of the world soon to be announced.
Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Thursday, February 13th at LiveNation.com
