Baltimore’s Artscape 2018 Brings TLC To Headline Their Free Festival
We all like the Summer because of festival season, but we tend to LOVE those festivals that come with a FREE price tag!
Baltimore Artscape is America’s largest free arts festival, attracting 350,000+ attendees over three days, featuring 150+ fine artists, fashion designers and craftspeople; visual art exhibits on and off-site displays. The festival also offers music performances from different genres to keep the vibe going. This year they have just announced the headlining performers for the fest that runs from July 20th – 22nd, and they have tapped the biggest selling female group TLC to close out the opening night festivities at 7:30 PM on the MICA Main Stage. This is a pretty big ordeal for T-Boz and Chilli have not performed in Baltimore since their Fanmail Tour in 1999.
Holding the rest of the weekend down in the concert arena is reggae band Toots & The Maytals on Saturday and ZZ Ward Sunday evening.
The festival takes place on Mount Royal Avenue and Cathedral Street, Charles Street, Bolton Hill and Station North Arts and Entertainment District neighborhoods. It runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 20 (Friday) and July 21 (Saturday), and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on July 22. (Sunday).Come down for some incredibly unique art and stick around for some good music!
