2017 Global Citizen Festival features Stevie Wonder
It’s baccccck! One of the biggest, free music festivals has returned for 2017.
The 2017 Global Citizen Festival will be held on September 23 on the Great Lawn in Central Park in New York City. The lineup of musicians performing at the annual free-ticketed event has been confirmed, with Stevie Wonder topping the bill.
The Killers, Green Day, The Chainsmokers, The Lumineers, Pharrell, Alessia Cara, Big Sean, and Andra Day are also set to play the festival.
Granted tickets are “free”, you have to do quite a bit of work for them. As always with all of their concerts, the Global Citizens organizers want you to take action to make the World a better place. Tickets be granted to individuals who earn enough qualifying points by participating in “Action Journeys” through the official Global Citizen app.
