‘What Have You Done For Me Lately?’ was Janet Jackson‘s breakout hit, that she sang to a boyfriend who slacking in many areas, but today, that’s the same thing that her fans seem to be singing to her.
Last year is what some people may call a ‘comeback’ for one of the queens of music, as she released a new album ‘Unbreakable’ and sought out on a tour which kicked off in August. Granted things got off to a running start, at some point the momentum got lost. Janet had to cancel the second leg of her US tour dates due to surgery for an unknown cause, but said that she would reboot the tour after the start of 2016 with her European dates. Everything was set as her entire camp have been in London for the past couple of weeks rehearsing, until now.
In news that we just received, Janet Jackson has cancelled her entire European Unbreakable tour. This absolutely sucks because her European fans have been a big market for her throughout her career, and the last time they got to see her live was in 2012 for the ‘Number Ones: Up Close And Personal Tour‘. The latest leg of the trek was supposed to kick off in Birmingham, England on March 30th and play to London and other major Euro cities thereafter. Also, her Ireland, Germany and France have also been postponed.
Ticketmaster released an official statement about the cancellation:

Ticketmaster Customer Service
Granted Ticketmaster denotes that the tour has been “postponed”, it’s a little weird that they are refunding ALL ticket holders money. Usually in the case of a postponement, they will still allow people to keep their tickets while waiting for new dates, but allow anyone who wants a refund to get it.
We hope that at some point Janet DOES resume her tour, but at this point we’re not sure…and we hope that the next US leg doesn’t suffer the same fate.
