Charm City Live Celebrates Its 5 Year Anniversary

Hold up, has it really been 5 years since Mayor Brandon M. Scott added a one day festival to close out the Summer festival season in Baltimore? We didn’t think it had seemed that long, but apparently!

Charm City Live is a free, one-day festival held at War Memorial Plaza in the heart of downtown Baltimore. The city is ready to welcome the 5th Annual Charm City Live during Labor Day Weekend on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

As recently announced, the headliners for the event will be Boyz II Men and Case. In addition to the concerts, you know there’s NO PARTY like a Baltimore party, and to keep vibe of the event going and create a party atmosphere, there will be DJ sets by Porkchop, DJ Tanz, DJ Keebee, and Uncle E.

“Charm City Live is more than a concert- it’s a celebration of Baltimore. It’s an opportunity to showcase our artists, support our local businesses, connect residents with City resources, and create experiences that bring people together,” said Linzy Jackson, Director of the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Culture and Entertainment. “As we celebrate five years of this festival, we’re excited to continue investing in our downtown, highlighting Baltimore’s incredible talent, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome. Whether you’re coming for the music, the food, the Kids Zone, or to discover a new local business, there’s something here for everyone.”

Beyond the music, Charm City Live highlights Baltimore’s vibrant culture through local businesses, community engagement and a citywide hiring fair that connects residents with employment opportunities in Baltimore City government.
