Mary J. Blige Announces the “Good Morning Gorgeous” Tour
Wake up gorgeous, for this is NOT a dream! The queen of hip-hop soul and a constant purveyor of black girl magic, Mary J. Blige has just recently announced that she’s about to hit the road again.
Branding her newest outing as the “Good Morning Gorgeous” Tour ,the show will be in support of her latest hit selling album, of the same name. Presented by Hologic and partnering with the current hit makers of popular ethnic based tours, the Black Promoters Collective, the tour kicks off on September 17 in Greensboro, NC. She’s planning to do the “Mary Dance” all across the nation, in cities such as Washington, D.C., Brooklyn, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Houston and Atlanta before wrapping things up in Atlantic City.
MJB has long been a champion for women’s empowerment, and this tour further shows her impact of bringing women together by inviting young R&B belles Ella Mai and Queen Naija on the tour as supporting acts. Mai will promote her recently released sophomore album, “Heart On My Sleeve”, while, Naija will be supporting “Missunderstood…still”
