Queen Naija Flies To New Heights With Her “Butterfly” Tour Announcement

One of R&B’s IT Girls is ready to get back on the road! Queen Naija has announced that she’s planning “The Butterfly” Tour for the fourth quarter of 2021.

The tour kicks off on October 17 in Atlanta and will traverse to major cities in the U.S., including Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, Detroit and Portland, before the last curtain call in Seattle. Fellow female R&B artist Tink will be coming along on the tour as a featured special guest.

This outing will be in support of Naija’s debut album, “Missunderstood”, which took the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart when it dropped in 2020. In April, she followed up with a deluxe edition, “Missunderstood…Still”, which includes her leading single “Pack Lite” and five previously unreleased songs, one being the Ari Lennox-assisted “Set Him Up”. It also features appearances from Kiana Ledé, Lucky Daye, Jacquees, Lil Duck, Latto and more.  The New York Times’ Jon Pareles said, “Over a slow-motion strut of a bass line and a glass of chardonnay in the lyrics, Queen Naija and Ari Lennox sweetly intertwine their voices, enjoying each other’s explicit details about their latest hookups.”

Tickets for The Butterfly Tour go on sale on Friday, September 17, at 10 a.m. local time on Naija’s official website.
