There’s a train coming, and one full steam ahead, with little signs of slowing down…at all.
Madonna is on the horizon of releasing her 14th studio album entitled “Madame X” on June 14th, but she’s also pushing out promo for an extension to that project. Announced via her social media pages this morning, for the first time since quite possibly the 80’s, Madge will mount a theater tour in support of her album.
The “Madame X” tour will kick off September 12th at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in NYC and will feature multiple nights of shows in each city including performances at the Chicago Theatre, The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Future shows have been teased at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, the Boch Center Wang Theatre in Boston, The Met in Philadelphia and at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre via a press release. International fans, you’re in luck too, as the tour will pick up again in early 2020 with shows in Lisbon (The Coliseum), London (The Palladium) and Paris (Grand Rex).
Message to the fans, it looks like this show may be a bit of a hassle to cop tickets for because there’s a “request process” that you’ll have to endure.
Ticket requests for all shows will be accepted from Monday through 11:59 p.m. on Friday (May 10) via Live Nation. You will be able to select the city and show preference and preferred price points before completing their request and those whose requests are confirmed will be notified by May 17. We hope that you got your funds ready, with prices ranging from $60-$760 (plus service charges), and VIP packages pushing towards $2,000, this may be one of the most expensive shows of the year. Don’t fret though, the material girl will also make 10 tickets available for $10 for each show.
