Yeeep, it’s about that time folks, where we are smack dab in the middle of winter, are tired of the cold, and start thinking about what it would be like when the warmer weather hits. Those thoughts of warmth also brings along the brigade of Summer concert festivals.
The latest festival to drop it’s announcement is the Panorama Festival, which takes place at New York City’s famed Randall’s Island Park. If you’re at all unfamiliar with the Panorama Festival, the short and simple of it is that Goldenvoice has pretty much set it up to be the East Coast variant of Coachella. Set for the weekend of July 27th – 29th this year, we see a a stacked lineup that literally touches all walks of musical life. In an announcement made today, we see that The Weeknd, Janet Jackson, and The Killers are the main attractions for 2018. The Migos, Father John Misty, the War on Drugs, Dua Lipa, SZA, Cardi B, Gucci Mane, St. Vincent, the XX, Odesza, David Byrne, Fleet Foxes, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Japanese Breakfast, Greta Van Fleet, Mount Kimbie, Chicano Batman and Robert DeLong will also perform at the third-annual event, among others.
For those people who are interested in buying tickets, you will have VARIOUS options on buying, because they are bringing you different tiers of ticket packages. In addition to buying a single day ticket, you can also purchase a two-day or three-day general admission and VIP pass. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 AM with discounted pricing that runs until Saturday at midnight. For that, single day tickets will run you $79, while three-day passes go from $230 to a $450 VIP pass.
