Tank & Leela James Announce “The Savage x The Soul” Co-Headlining Tour

It’s a busy time in rhythm and blues music, and we have to say this is something we’re totally here for, so to all of the people who tend to keep saying that R&B is dead, you can now sit down!

Two of the front runners for that good ole grown and sexy R&B music Tank and Leela James are about to do it one time (well multiples times) for the culture this fall when they embark on the “Savage x The Soul Tour

This summer, the self proclaimed R&B General Tank had the women in COMPLETE and utter sexual overload with the release of his hot single “When We“, which has been topping the urban adult contemporary air waves, and recently released his “Savage” album last month. On top of that, he literally just came off the road with The Savage Tour, which brought him extremely closer to his audience.

The soulful Leela James hasn’t been slacking either since she dropped her newest album “Did It For Love” at the top of the year, and has been equally on and off the road, with other top R&B acts Ledisi and Maxwell.

The Savage x The Soul Tour will bring these two powerhouse singers together, to deliver a full on musical smorgasbord to all of those who crave REAL music. New York City will serve as the kick off for the tour, as it has it’s opening night show on November 13th at the Playstation Theater before making it’s way to Washington, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, LA and other major markets.

If you’re interested, which you should, in seeing this show, tickets are on sale now via both Leela James‘ and Tank respective websites.
