Kirk Franklin and Leidsi Are The Rebel, The Soul & The Saint On Co-Headlining Tour

We’ve just gotten news of an unlikely parring as far as concert tours are considered, but this is something that could totally work out!

There’s no hidden secret that gospel artists wander over into the playground of working with secular artists on recorded tracks, those combinations have actually made some of the best music of all time. It’s not often that we see a gospel artist hitting the road with a soul/r&b singer though, but as with all things, a change has got to come.

That change comes in the form of “The Rebel, The Soul & The Saint Tour”, which is a co-headlining gig between Gospel legend Kirk Franklin and Soul/R&B Ledisi. The two have joined forces for a 27-city trek that kicks off on October 25 in Oakland, CA at Paramount Theatre and runs through December, making stops in major US markets to include New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Sacramento, and more. PJ Morton of Maroon 5 fame will be the special guest opening act as well.

You should already know that this show will be PACKED with hits, as Mr. Franklin has 20+ years in the industry, and Ledisi has been making moves since 2000…there will be no cheating concert goers of any money this go round. Not only making this show about past hits, Ledisi will be bringing offerings from her upcoming album “Let Love Rule“, which is due out in September, and Kirk will push songs from his “Losing My Religion” project.

VIP presale tickets are available on Monday, August 28th with general admission tickets hitting the marketplace on Wednesday, August 30th. If you’re interested in purchasing tickets, you can do so from
