Chicago has been the home of Lollapalooza for the past 26 years, since it’s inception in 1991 by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Lollapalooza has become a definitively unique music experience.
After finding it’s permanent home in the renowned Grant Park, #Lolla has continuously curated a lineup of diverse artists each year to satisfy everyone’s musical tastebuds, and this year is no different.
Placed smack-dab in the middle of Summer, the weekend of August 3-6 serves as the dates of Chitown’s biggest music event where you’ll have the opportunity of seeing 170 performers grace the stage. Taking the top billing as headlining artists are Chicago’s own Chance The Rapper, The Killers, Muse and Arcade Fire.
Other performs include The xx, Lorde, Blink-182, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Rae Sremmurd, The Migos, DJ Snake and Justice, alt-J, Jidenna, Cage The Elephant, 21 Savage, The Head and The Heart, Lil Uzi Vert, Liam Gallagher, Phantogram and Spoon, Rag’n’Bone Man, Maggie Mae, 6lack, Sampha and Jain.
General admission one-day tickets will cost $120 and are on sale now via the Lollapalooza website, granted a LOT of them are already sold out.
