Pharrell Leads The Roots Picnic 2017 Into It’s 10th Year Of Awesomeness
Hot off the presses! It’s that time again to find out about all of the Spring/Summer festival, and next up on the menu is the now famed Roots Picnic. The hip hop/neo soul band “The Roots” host their 10th annual Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, which is an all-day music festival on Saturday June 3rd at the Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing.
Wow, has it REALLY been 10 years since the inception of what some thought would be a “one off” type of festival? We guess so, because this festival keeps continuing to grow, now even spawning off a New York version. This year’s annual Roots Picnic will feature “Skateboard P” Pharrell (backed by The Roots), Lil Wayne, Solange, 21 Savage, Kimbra, Fat Joe, Mobb Deep, PNB Rock, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and more.
Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster and start at $75 for general admission. Grab the tickets up before they go, because they usually do sell out.
