Broccoli City Festival Is Back For 2016 With A Big Annoucement


The festival with a purpose is BACK! Yes that’s right, the annual Broccoli City Festival, which is an event aimed at advocating the necessity of healthy eating habits and environmental sustainability to urban millennials has been tapped to take place on April 30, 2016 at The Gateway DC Pavilion in Washington, DC.

In an announcement put out this week, we finally know who will be performing at this year’s concert.  Atlanta rapper who has been getting a lot of shine over the past couple of years, Future, takes top billing on this show. The Dirty Sprite rapper will be joined by R&B songstress Jhené Aiko, The Internet, Anderson .Paak, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Sango.

Debuting in 2013, the annual Earth Day celebration unites thousands of diverse BC Festival-goers for a day of art, food, culture, yoga, and a wide range of musical performances.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at, with VIP options available. The festival will commence from noon to 10 p.m., rain or shine.
